Twende Mbele is hosting a strand at the upcoming African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) Conference, Kampala, Uganda.
The strand, ‘The Role of Governments in Evaluating the SDGs’ will bring together government staff and evaluation professionals to understand the emerging work on government evaluation systems, the SDGs, and how this experience can be shared and supported across the continent.
The 8th AfrEA International Conference 2017 aims to promote exchange between researchers, academia, emerging evaluators and practitioners on demand and supply of credible evaluative evidence in support of the SDGs in Africa. It will also build capacity to design, manage and use evaluations to help Governments achieve their national and international development agendas, particularly around the SDGs and the Africa2063 Agenda
